Test Petition

The United States has led the way in helping countries implement solutions to improve the health and reduce preventable deaths of mothers and children.

To build on this progress, bipartisan legislation called the Reach Every Mother and Child Act of 2015 (S. 1911, HR. 3706) was first introduced in the Senate on July 30, 2015 – over a year ago. If passed, the bill would help save the lives of 15 million children and 600,000 women by 2020 and end preventable maternal and child deaths by 2035.

Sadly, since it was introduced in Congress, an estimated 7.2 million children and mothers have died of preventable causes.

Please ask your House representative to support the Reach Every Mother and Child Act and to request a scheduled hearing in the House Foreign Affairs Committee!
